POTTERY ROAD DH

The Pottery Road Downhill is actual called 3 Rocks To Pottery, based off of the famous 3 rocks at the trailhead, but everyone calls it the Pottery DH.  This trail is singletrack and has two main entrances, one at the Loblaws trailhead and one on Pottery Road, right next to the GO Train tracks.  It is 1.4 km long and has a variety of features from technical rock gardens to fast and smooth berms.  The climb difficulty is rated as Black Diamond due to the steep elevation gains.  This trail is perfect for Toronto because no matter what your experience level is, or how fast you like to ride, you will for sure love this trail!  While rippin’ it up try to give a shout when going around blind corners because it is a very popular dog walking trail!  The trail is a designed as a ridge run until you get to the DH section.  You lose roughly 30 metres of elevation in just a matter of seconds!  The grade minimum for the trail can get up to -15% - thats really fast!  One aspect of the trail that is awesome is that during the downhill, everyone on the bayview extension can see you shreddin’ up on the top of a cliff!  The looks you get from drivers when they see you flying’ by are priceless - and you and your crew will look pretty sick!  You'll want to give this trail a try - you wont regret it!  Ride On!
